The weather-resistant design features a soft fleece top layer for relaxing, while the durable waterproof layers keep you dry and comfortable. Internal corner loops assist in flipping GIGSAK to reveal the hidden cosy shelter.

Easy to fold, it fits perfectly in the GIGSAK Large Tote bag.

It is easy to keep clean: Simply wipe it down with a damp sponge or cloth and hang it to dry. It can also be machine washed at 30ºC (Wool cycle).

Instructions

Keep warm with GIGSAK

When the weather changes and you need to stay warm:

  1. Clear the GIGSAK of people and all of your belongings.
  2. Locate the GIGSAK opening.
  3. Place your arms inside the GIGSAK opening, stretch your arms to both rear corners and grab the inner handles with each hand.
  4. Pull on the inner handles to turn your GIGSAK inside out.
  5. Step inside the GIGSAK with the fleece in front of you, and the polyester behind you.
  6. Sit down and keep warm!

Keep dry with GIGSAK

When the weather changes and you need to stay dry:

  1. Clear the GIGSAK of people and all of your belongings.
  2. Locate the GIGSAK opening.
  3. Place your arms inside the opening, stretch your arms to both rear corners and grab the inner handles with each hand.
  4. Pull on the inner handles to turn your GIGSAK inside out.
  5. Place the GIGSAK on the ground, the fleece should now be inside on the bottom.
  6. Open the GIGSAK, crawl in, sit down, and keep dry!

How waterproof is GIGSAK? 

GIGSAK has been tested on wet grass and sat inside of for long spells of steady rain (the Belgium F1 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for example). GIGSAK has kept us dry inside, however, it is not designed to be a waterproof tent.

When sheltering inside GIGSAK, with the waterproof polyester layer over your head, you may find rain runs off and droplets may form on the exposed opening. Keep a small towel handy to wipe away any rain and prevent it from entering the GIGSAK.

Care Guide

Can I take the GIGSAK into music festival arenas?

Many festivals do not permit gazebos, sun tents or large parasol-type umbrellas in the main arena as they restrict other festivalgoers' views and present health and safety issues for exiting the arena in the event of an emergency.

To avoid disappointment we always recommend you check with festival organisers to check if GIGSAK is allowed.

Amazing product -we love using our Gigsak!

The blanket has been used by our children all summer. We've taken it out to a park for picnic, to the beach, camping and it kept them dry and warm in colder weather. It is very easy to wash and fold, fits in my backpack well. It's very well made and will last for years. The print is very cute and my daughter loves it!
